Make Every Minute Count: Strategic Time Management

We can’t really double the time we have, so how can we make every minute count for two? The most important thing is to know where you are headed. In following the course to your destination, you will have to DO some things and NOT DO some other things.
Do ask yourself--
-“What can I do to get where I am headed?”
- “What do I need to learn?”
-“Who do I need to help me?”
Don’t fall into traps like these—
-Keeping house instead of making calls
-Letting your customers keep the money they owe you!
The key to getting the right things done is to make sure you know what they are and have preserved the time to do them. We’ll talk about blocking time in your calendar for essential business activities, and do a mini calendar-blocking exercise during the evening.

An entrepreneur herself since 2000, named a top management consultant by NJBIZ, Lorette has coached business for over 20 years.

She is President-elect of the National Speakers Association-NJ, speaks regularly about issues concerning small business, and works with for-profits and not-for-profits both. She is active with several professional and non-profit societies, including the local business groups BNI, the Princeton and Somerset Chambers of Commerce, and manages the Farmers Market of Montgomery Friends of Open Space.
