The workshop is being taught by Andrea C. Carrero, a former journalist and public relations coordinator. Carrero is founder and president of Word Technologies Inc. (www.wordtex.com), a full-service business, marketing and technical communication firm. In her 20-plus-year career as a professional writer, she has worked as a reporter and editor for mass media (daily and weekly newspapers), written for radio and worked in public relations and publications roles for large nonprofit organizations.
